An Outsourcing Producer will be familiar with project management methodologies, in addition to being capable of optimizing workflows. This individual will be the point-person on the Production team for tracking and coordinating all outsourcing activities and needs for the studio. This role requires a high familiarity with industry specific positions and practices and will be interfacing with vendors on a wide variety of outsourcing needs (from art to engineering). They will also work alongside internal leads, and work with internal production to expand outsourcing efforts in the studio. The ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external teams to achieve the creative vision of the game is the core of this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage outsourcing relationships throughout the studio including art, tech, marketing and more
  • Consider, source and close new outsource opportunities in collaboration with the Business Development team
  • Assist Producers in maximizing efficiencies, anticipating bottlenecks, and growing outsourcing pipeline.
  • Demonstrate a long view of the tools and trends within the industry, in order to both stay relevant and to find options to further optimize existing process
  • Review, provide feedback, and facilitate approval on the suitability of outsourced work with an eye towards the needs of the project
  • Collaborate with internal teams to build asset lists, specification documents, and reasonable workflows.
  • Facilitate the flow of incoming and outgoing assets to the appropriate groups.
  • Facilitate/Provide technical support for internal tools and processes to external vendors.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of professional industry experience with at least one AAA title shipped.
  • Demonstrable ability to work with internal and external production structures.
  • Well-versed in Jira and project management skillsets
  • Previous experience working with external vendors required; a vast network of established vendor relationships is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
